Hello, It is thursday about 11:30 in Korea. I am currently lost in Seoul. It's okay, though, I am usually lost anyways. I stopped at a computer cafe to find directions to the place i'm trying to find.
I figured out the subway system enough to find the right station!! It is so weird to blend in here. All the people look like me. However, they are much better dressed. I need to buy some high heels and a nice dress. Many women wear HIGH heels and look very nice.
Yesterday, after I arrived in the airport. I took the bus to Sinchon/Ewha and the lady in charge of the guest house came and found me. Thank goodness, because I never would have found it otherwise. Then, I settled in a little until the other woman staying there got back. The two women in my guest house took me out to eat and I ate some sort of pork ribs. Then we went shopping for a dress. One of the women is going on an adoptee tv show to look for her relatives today. She needed something new to wear. I have figured out that Korean women love to shop. There were hundreds of people out last night shopping. It doesn't help that the apartment is near Ewha women's university. The streets are full of little shops and lots of clothes.
Today, I went to the track at the Ewha women's university and ran. Apparently that is weird, because people were staring at me. There was another lady walking around the track. I passed a couple bakeries, a dunkin donuts, and two 7-11's on the way there. I came back, took a shower, then headed for the subway. I got lost on there for a while and then found the station I needed, got off, and got lost again.
My next adventure is to find my way back to wear the subway is and then start over looking for my destination.

Landed
Hello all,
I have landed at the Incheon int'l airport safe and sound. I have exchanged currency, bought my subway card, and am going to head to the limo bus to head into seoul. The flight was pretty long and I couldn't sleep that well. The food was really good. Best airline food ever. Had bimbap and ravioli (which they pronounced "lavioli"). My 10 min for 500 won is almost up...

More packing
I have officially received my ticket! It is relieving to know that I am actually going. Tonight I packed most everything and went to barnes and noble and bought a book so I can plan my trip a little better (I figure I have 14 hours on the plane to plan). That's about it for now. I leave in 2 days and 11 hours!

Packing
Annyong!
I am starting my blog for my trip to Korea this July. I will be leaving the 14th and returning the 30th. This is for all you to keep up with me for the 2.5 weeks I'll be gone. I will try to post at least once everyday while in Korea.
Yesterday was my birthday and my parents gave me luggage for a present. So tonight, I am going to start packing.
7 more days!
